What exactly is Futsal?

Futsal Crash Course!

Originating in Uruguay, and now a worldwide sport, futsal is a variant of soccer played on a hardwood court (like a basketball court). The ball is also slightly smaller and heavier, so the adjustment from outdoor soccer to futsal is enough to keep players on their toes!

Why does Coach Ben recommend it so much? The small difference in the environment and the ball demand the player to be that much more precise with their dribbling. It's also fast paced, so in order to keep up with the momentum of the game, player's must adapt and gain control on the ball that is not always necessary when played outdoors.

See for Yourself!
